Lectio Divina
Lectio Divina, meaning “divine reading,” is a contemplative practice in which we gather to engage with Scripture in a prayerful manner. It typically unfolds in four steps: reading, meditation, prayer, and contemplation. A passage is read aloud multiple times, with silent reflection between each reading. Participants listen for a word or phrase that resonates with them, share their insights, and reflect on how God might be speaking to them personally and communally.
Rather than analyzing the text intellectually, the focus is on experiencing God's presence and allowing the Word to shape one's heart and life. It’s a gentle, sacred rhythm that fosters spiritual intimacy and communal discernment.
Meets: Twice a Week Tuesday at 8pm and Thursday at 8am
