Historical Jesus
Who is the Historical Jesus?
An Overview of the Historical Jesus Literature
Dr. Dale C. Allison Jr. is a distinguished scholar in the New Testament, an expert in the study of the Historical Jesus, and, more importantly, my former professor during my time at Princeton. He was one of the most impactful and memorable professors I had during my seminary education. The material is very similar to his course at Princeton and it is an amazing opportunity for all of us to go thru this class a group.
The Class
We will meet online. The class uses the Harvard pedagogical method of “Connect, Extend, Challenge.” Please watch a video before our class, and write down connections, extensions, and challenges. We will then go into a group discussion to share our findings.
