The team serves not merely to “support” worship but to embody it—through voice, instrument, visual presence, and behind-the-scenes care. Their work is both artistic and priestly, preparing the way for the gathered body to encounter the divine.

Teachers, Assistants, Helpers
for Children and Youth

In a Children, Youth & Families Ministry, teachers, assistants, and helpers form a team that nurtures spiritual growth, emotional safety, and community engagement for children and youth aged four to eighteen. Each role carries distinct responsibilities, but together they embody the church’s commitment to forming young lives in faith and love.

Care for the Elderly & Sick

Volunteers in TUC’s ministry for the elderly and sick are the living embodiment of Christ’s compassion. Their role goes beyond logistical support—they become conduits of presence, dignity, and spiritual connection.

Greeters & Ushers

Greeters and ushers play a quietly profound role in shaping the spiritual and social atmosphere of our church community. Far beyond logistical helpers, they are the first embodiment of hospitality, care, and order that a visitor or member encounters.

Communications

The Property Care Committee of TUC serves as the steward of the church’s physical space—ensuring that buildings, grounds, and capital assets reflect and support the mission, hospitality, and safety of the congregation. Their work is both strategic and hands-on, blending facility management with theological intentionality.

MOHN

MOHN is a profoundly embodied ministry that doesn’t just speak justice but kneels to serve it, quietly and consistently. MOHN’s purpose is to extend Christ’s compassion through daily acts of nourishment, presence, and dignity—serving our homeless neighbors with food, warmth, and relational care, and witnessing to the sacred worth of every person.

Hospitality

This beautiful ministry blends logistics with love. A church hospitality team that oversees both the weekly coffee hour and special food events plays an important role in cultivating a sense of welcome, care, and community. Their responsibilities span practical coordination and spiritual presence.

Spiritual Formation

Teachers and facilitators are not merely conveyors of information—they are cultivators of transformation. Their roles intertwine pedagogy with pastoral care, helping individuals move from intellectual understanding to embodied spiritual practice.
